Abstract The computational model designed for studying the processes of non-equilibrium physicochemical gas dynamics in supersonic rarefied-air flow past a blunt plate finite dimensions under laboratory experiment conditions is formulated. based on two-dimensional Navier–Stokes equations, energy conservation laws translational degrees freedom atoms and molecules vibrational diatomic molecules, chemical kinetics diffusion equations individual components partially ionized flow. basic dynamic kinetic are analyzed at Mach numbers M = 10 20. It shown that regions thermal nonequilibrium formed.
